We can develop a website for you from the ground up, or we can take a site you already have and make it rich with content, data-driven reports and tools, and cross-browser functionality (that means it will work anywhere). Listed below are the "Three P's" we use to describe our web development to new clients.

The Process

Developing a website is no trivial task. As us! We ran our company for about 3 years without our own website. Granted, we were mainly in the software development business at the time and weren't doing as much web-work, and most of our contacts came by personal referrals and not people looking for our services on the Internet... but still... a development company with no website? Why not?

The biggest reason was this: we didn't know what to put on it! What do you do, just throw up a phone number and a list of your clients? That might be worse than even NOT having a website. So our site sat there, with hardly anything on it. Now, though, we have a fully functional site, rich in content, up to date in technology, and we use many of the features of our own site to sell service and products to new clients

So, of course, the product we're talking about is your website. Everything that comes up when the user types in www.c2itconsulting.net, or whatever your company's web address is. This encompasses not only the text they see on the screen, but the design of the graphics, the layout of the page, the speed of the download, the reliability of the server, and, in the case of most sites we maintain, the integrity and accuracy of the back-end database

We seek to develop each of our clients a unique site. Some of them will be rather static, without much change happening. Others will be almost "live," with up-to-the minute news, content created by users, or even data pulled from other areas of the web. Some of the features we seek to provide our clients with are things like:

You'll notice we didn't emphasize "flashy graphics" or "cool sound." If you want it, we can deliver it. But did you know that incorporating FLASH into your site makes it LESS search-engine friendly or that adding sound causes your webpages to load much slower (and bugs the heck out of a lot of users)? We focus on the content of your site, not just the first impression. At the same time, though, we believe that a consistent look and easy-to-find content will create a great first impression, but instead of having users that hit your site once a month, or once in a lifetime, we will keep them coming back with fresh content, do-your-mailbox-delivered news, and many other content-rich features the web has to provide.
